2024

The 2024 ACC Boys AFL team played against the SSWA team on Thursday 10 October at Fremantle Oval.

Many thanks to the South Fremantle FC for their support of this event with provision of the club's change rooms, equipment and facilities.  

The game was a very high standard and fairly close up until the fourth quarter.  ACC players showcased incredible talent, defeating the SSWA team comfortably with a final result of 82-54.

Special thanks to coach Ryan Henley (Emmanuel Catholic College), assistant coach Ben Sokol (Emmanuel Catholic College) and manager Michael Tassone (Ursula Frayne Catholic College) for volunteering their time to select and manage the team.

The ACC would also like to acknowledge selectors Daniel Curtis (Corpus Christi College) and Brendan Lewis (St Norbert College) for assisting with the team selection and attendance at the game.  

Congratulations also to Declan Paulie from All Saints' College for winning the MVP award, and to Jake Austin from CBC Fremantle on being selected for the coach's award.

The ACC would like to commend the fantastic sportsmanship, camaderie and conduct of the players on the day.  They were a true team and their schools should be proud.  The ACC would also like to thank the ACC schools for their support in releasing the players and coaches for this great event.
